電視劇推薦：The IT Crowd

我一直很喜歡這個英國電視劇。 
自從Little Britain「小英國大人物」之後，我沒什麼看到有類似低沸點的電視劇。昨天晚上我看到了第一季第五集，整個笑倒在桌上差點沒斷氣。整個影集越到後面越好笑，希望有興趣的同學可以堅持下去。台灣完全沒有辦法租到the IT Crowd，所以大家只能尋求「其他」途徑來觀賞這個影集了。

影集裏的三人組光不要講話就充滿喜感了。Jen是純正英國腔，完全不懂電腦但卻在CV上假裝自己是科技人的一個爆笑妹；Moss是黑白混血有著非常不明顯的Afro頭的標準呆腦工程師一（我覺得他長得很像郭富城耶），Roy是呆腦工程師二，愛爾蘭人，他的愛爾蘭腔一開口就常笑死很多人，第二季中他的腔調一直被別人取笑，我個人也很愛學。

Jen應該是演舞台劇出身的，她的表演又生動又好笑，在我家的MOD有限電視裏她也經常出現在其他英國影集中。其他兩個男的演起呆腦工程實也實在演得唯妙唯肖。三人的對話速度都不快，對於想要學英國腔的同學，這真是一套很棒的教材。

Set in the London offices of the fictional corporation Reynholm Industries, the show revolves around the three staff members of its I.T. (information technology) department - the two technicians named Moss (Ayoade) and Roy (O'Dowd), and their manager Jen (Parkinson).

故事發生在座落於虛構的Reynholm公司位於倫敦的辦公室。這部影集環繞在IT部門的三個員工身上－兩位技術人員Moss跟Roy還有他們的經理Jen。
The programme began on Channel 4 on 3 February 2006. The show has run for three series of 6 episodes each, while a fourth series is due to air from 25June 2010 and a fifth series has also been commissioned.

這個節目於2006年2月3日開播於Channel 4，至今有三季，每季有六集。目前第四季即將於2010年6月25日播出，而第五季正在製作中。

The show was the third successful sitcom creation of GrahamLinehan, following Black Books, co-written with Dylan Moran, and Father Ted, co-written with Arthur Mathews.

這齣電視劇是Linehan所寫第三部成功的情境喜劇，之前兩部是與Moran合寫的Black Books與跟Ted合寫的Arthur Mathews.

Cast and characters
Moss, Jen, and Roy

˙Chris O'Dowd as Roy – a laid-back IT technician from Ireland, Roy is often shown to go to great lengths to avoid actually having to perform his duties at Reynholm Industries and is described along with co-worker Moss as a "standard nerd (標準呆腦人)" by Denholm Reynholm.[3]
˙Richard Ayoade as Maurice Moss – highly intelligent with lack of social skills, Moss is a "standard nerd (標準呆腦人)" who struggles to communicate with anything that doesn't have a keyboard. Moss lives at home with his mother, who also dresses him.　
˙Katherine Parkinson as Jen Barber – after claiming she has had "a lot of experience with computers" Jen is made head of Reynholm Industries IT department, where she is soon proven by Roy and Moss to in fact have no knowledge of IT at all. However, she finds her niche by working as the Relationship Manager between IT and the rest of Reynholm Industries.
˙Chris Morris as Denholm Reynholm (series 1 & 2 recurring, series 3 'From Hell') – the founder of Reynholm industries, Denholmhas very little understanding of IT. In series 2 Denholm is informed by the police of a problem with the company's pension accounts, leading him to commit suicide by walking out a high storey window. He appears once in series 3 when Douglassees him briefly in the afterlife.
˙Matt Berry as Douglas Reynholm (series 2 recurring, 3 main cast) – the son of Denholm "that fled from a hefty lawsuit to go off womanising all over the world" using his father's cash, Douglas inherits Reynholm Industries.
˙Noel Fielding as Richmond Avenal (series 1 & 2 recurring) – once a young go-getter at Reynholm Industries, Richmond was the right-hand-man to Denholm, before finding Cradle of Filth and becoming a Goth - leading to his downfall as asuccessful businessman. As a result he ends up confined to the server room in the basement, next to the IT department. Richmond didn't appear in Series 3 due to Noel Fielding's busy schedule. He was said by Moss to have scurvy.
