BBC英語學習網有一個可愛的片語教學單元。跟考試無關，但學會的話，可是會讓英美人士對你刮目相看喔！
Bear with me 熊來了！！！-> 當然是開玩笑的啦。真正的意思是，「請忍耐我一下／請稍候一下」。

​You can say 'bear with me' if you want someone to be patient and wait while you do something else.　當你必須讓對方稍候時，可以說出這句話來解圍。這個句子我在英文真的每天都會聽到很多次。尤其是在銀行辦事或是在商店裏。
 
Examples例句:
Bear with me. I'm on the phone right now and I will be with you shortly.　請稍候。我現在在電話中，但我稍候會立刻為您服務。

If you could just bear with me for a moment I will find the address of my dentist to give you. I am sure I wrote it somewhere in my diary.　如果您可以忍耐我一下，我可以找到我牙醫的地址給你。我肯定我寫在我日誌上的某個地方。
